Terms
Last updated · 21 April 2026
These terms cover how you can use the IRIS website and what you agree to when you apply to join or participate in the network. They are written in plain English on purpose.
The IRIS website is open to anyone. Membership of the network is curated and limited to women founders, aligned investors, and partners who have been accepted through the application process.
You must be at least eighteen years old to submit an application or to use any part of the service that requires you to share personal information.
When you submit the “Join IRIS” form, you confirm that the information you provide about yourself and your company is accurate to the best of your knowledge. We make membership decisions based on what you tell us, and on signal from our existing network.
We do not guarantee that any application will be accepted, and we do not have to explain a decision. If your application is unsuccessful, you are welcome to apply again later.
IRIS connects founders, investors, and partners. Anything shared between members, including introductions, advice, investment commentary, and pitch feedback, is provided on a best-efforts basis by independent people, not by IRIS as a regulated entity.
Nothing on this site or inside the network is investment, legal, tax, or financial advice. Treat every conversation as a starting point and take your own professional advice before making decisions that matter.
IRIS is built on trust. By participating you agree that you will:
We can suspend or remove anyone who breaks these expectations, at our discretion.
You agree that you will not:
The IRIS name, the IRIS mark, the iridescent identity system, the writing on this site, and all other materials we publish belong to us. You can reference and link to public pages, but please do not copy, modify, or republish without asking.
Anything you submit to us through the application form remains yours. By submitting it, you give us permission to use it for the purpose of evaluating your application and operating the network.
The IRIS website and the network are provided on an “as is” basis. We do not warrant that the site will be available without interruption, that information is free from errors, or that any introduction will lead to a particular outcome.
To the extent permitted by law, IRIS is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost deals, or lost opportunities, arising from your use of the site or your participation in the network.
You can leave the network at any time. We can also end your membership if you breach these terms or if it is no longer appropriate for you to be in the network. If we do, the obligations around confidentiality and acceptable use survive your departure.
We may update these terms as IRIS evolves. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated to active members directly.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute that cannot be resolved between us will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
